Description

The Technics SL-1200M7B Special-Edition Lamborghini Direct Drive turntable system combines Technics’ precision engineering with Lamborghini’s iconic design. This professional DJ turntable is built to thrill with a coreless direct drive motor for stable rotation and powerful torque. The motor’s advanced control technology provides high performance for normal playback and responds accurately to scratching and back-cueing. You’ll appreciate the familiar layout and feel of the SL-1200 series with enhanced capability.

Coreless Direct Drive Motor Delivers Powerful, Accurate Performance
At the heart of the SL-1200M7B is a coreless direct drive motor that produces a cogging-free rotation and high torque for faithful reproduction of your records’ audio signal. The motor’s direct drive design offers high reliability and doesn’t require part replacement. Technics redesigned the stator by removing the iron core to eliminate cogging, then optimized the rotor magnets and stator gap to equal the SL-1200MK5’s torque. The result is a motor with smooth, stable rotation and enough power for any DJ technique.

Advanced Motor Control Enables Precise Adjustments
The SL-1200M7B utilizes cutting-edge motor control technology to ensure peak performance for normal playback as well as scratching and back-cueing. An on-board microcomputer gives you total control over the motor with individual adjustment of starting torque and brake speed. The pitch control function provides 8%/16% rotation speed for accurate, steady pitch control thanks to improved digital tracking and precision.

Highly Sensitive Tonearm Tracks Every Groove
The SL-1200M7B comes with a static-balance universal S-shaped tonearm, a Technics tradition. The tonearm features an aluminum pipe for lightweight, high-rigidity performance. Its gimbal suspension construction incorporates a machined housing and high-precision bearings to assure excellent tracking of your record’s groove with minimal stylus skipping even under harsh operating conditions.

Premium Components Reduce Interference
Technics chose only the highest quality components to minimize interference for transparent audio reproduction. The platter has improved vibration damping for rotational stability. A high-rigidity cabinet and high-damping insulator effectively block external vibrations. Gold-plated phono terminals reduce signal degradation and the detachable power and phono cables allow use of your favorite high-end cables. With premium parts focused on vibration control and interference rejection, the SL-1200M7B delivers an uncompromising DJ experience.

Exclusive Lamborghini Engine Sounds Vinyl
As a purchaser of the SL-1200M7B, you will be treated to an exclusive gifta vinyl record featuring the powerful engine and driving sounds of six different Lamborghini V12-engine super sports cars. These sounds have been recorded especially for this project and include the 400GT 2+2, Miura SV, 25th Anniversary Countach, Diablo 6.0 SE, Murcilago LP 640, and Revuelto. The vinyl itself is a picture disc that showcases the tire of one of Lamborghini’s latest models, the Revuelto, adding a visual thrill to the auditory experience. As the tire spins atop the turntable, you can enjoy the iconic engine sounds. Additionally, you will receive a slipmat and two stickers featuring the Automobili Lamborghini and Technics logos, enhancing your setup with automotive and audio excellence.
